I visited this gallery called Espacio Menos Uno the other day and I thought the exhibition on show was wonderful. It's by Elisabet Sierra and it's called Prefiero Ciento Volando (meaning more or less 'I prefer a hundred flying'). She has hung hundreds of paper birds and boats all over the room, it's bewitching.

The wonderfully evocative Spanish proverb 'a bird in the hand is worth a hundred flying' has dwindled down to a mere two birds in English and they are not even in the air :
'A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush'
(Better an egg today than a chicken tomorrow)
but maybe that has a different meaning!
Love the look of this display.

hahaha Warren, I noticed in French there are only 10 birds in a tree. This installation wouldn't look so good in France, England or Italy ;-)

Hello Matt, well, if you can't go, at least I hope the photos give a nice idea of it!
