Me pregunto si el arte actual conservará esta gracia que tiene el arte medieval. Lo dudo, pero el tiempo lo dirá. Saludos.
I especially like the third picture ... such an original face for Christ. On the other hand you wonder why the sculptors at that time didn't realise that nailing someone to a cross would distort the body a lot more, or so I imagine. These chaps look reasonably peaceful.
I do hope everyone will now go to Leon. I went there, I loved the place, I visited this museum, these sculptures were absorbing and so beautiful.
Outside, just nearby, I also saw on the top of a column, a pair of storks. Spain is a paradise for bird lovers!

El cristo del carrizo parece una viñeta de el jueves, el canon medieval es sorprendente.
Jeje, sì, las proporciones son locas, pero aùn asì, no parece caricatura no?
