This week-end in Madrid, numerous artists living in the central districts of Lavapiés and La Latina opened their studios to the public. Here are some artists and places that I found interesting (click on the links).

Micky Forever is a group of 5 young painters and they invited a few more artists on this occasion, including Susana Botana who exhibited sculptures and paintings.
Juan Cruz Ibañez is a photographer who created a studio for making digital impressions for artists.
José Antonio Zaragoza is working on a series of portraits: he is drawing or painting ALL the protagonists of Victor Hugo's Les Misérables.

Hello Matt, Micky Forever is a fun place too, full of big and small works in every corner.
Good luck for your finals!

Interesting ratio for arachnophobia sufferers, 50% women to 10% men ...

I like all the pictures on Alfredo's web site of iron bedsteads ... reminds of the The Knack with Rita Tushingham ... seen way back in 1965!

Hola Clariana,
Muchos saludos

Quite well Matt thank you :-)

Hello Warren, poor spiders! Most of them are harmless, I find them quite fascinating.
I hadn't heard about that film, but found out about it on google.
